Capitol orders all personnel back to mother unit

A "BACK to mother unit" order has been issued to all detailed personnel of the Provincial Government.

Lawyer Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator, said Tuesday, July 2, that Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson ordered that all "detail and assignment orders have been cancelled and they are ordered to return to their mother units."

Their roles in the Capitol bureaucracy are being evaluated to know what their functions are, he also said.

"I'm focusing on putting all manpower in place, in order for all government functions to run smoothly," he added.

Diaz said the governor's team is “officially on board” at the Capitol.

"We have started to integrate ourselves to the existing manpower and organizational structure of the provincial government," he said.

Diaz added that there is an ongoing inventory of the human resource.

Asked about the status of lawyer Annabelle Palic, provincial human resource officer, Diaz said she is covered by the "back to mother unit" order of the governor.

Earlier, former governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. has stripped Palic of her status as department head, citing a circular of the Department of Budget and Management.

"I will call all parties concerned to a meeting. The answer is with them. For now the PLO is studying the matter," Diaz said.

"Let us set aside our personnel differences and work," he added.

What is important right now is to assess all the personnel in the Capitol and deploy them where they are suited "so that our government will run smoothly and orderly," Diaz said.
