A MAN was stabbed by an unidentified assailant at Barangay Aranda in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental Monday, June 4.
Police identified the victim as Ivan Panerio of the said village.
Police records showed that Panerio, armed with two bolos, arrived at a funeral wake in Rafael Omambing’s house and sought for help after he sustained stab wounds on his stomach.
Panerio was drunk when he was disarmed. He was rushed by his nephew to a hospital in Bacolod City. (Faith Hope Lauren, STI West Negros University intern)
