THE 2nd Inter-BPO Football Festival kicks off this Sunday at the San Roque football grounds.
However, unlike the Thirsty Football Cup and the Cebu International School Friendship Cup, this competition is is exclusive for the BPO industries.
The tournament has only two divisions, the Men’s and Women’s categories.
The Men’s class offers nine-a-side contests and is composed of 12 teams – Convergys A, Convergys B, Teletek A, Teletek B, Tsuneishi, Stream, NCR, Wipro, Calltek, Lexmark, 1&1 and defending champios Sykes. The Women’s division will have Convergys, Sykes, Wipro and last year’s winner Aegis.
The games will start at 7 a.m. and the awarding ceremonies will be at 8 p.m. at the Sports Exchange Bar and Grill.
