Flawlessly U campaign starts in Cebu

BEHIND the grit and grind of everyday work, women are noticed for their beauty but not always the pains they go through for the passions they’re pursuing. With this new campaign by Flawlessly U, a beauty brand under Splash Corp., the spotlight is focused on the flawless beauty of the everyday working woman who remains strong even under pressure.

“Beauty is always portrayed as something fancy and very princess-like. We often forget about the people who are just beside us, often overlooked. We are celebrating the ordinary, everyday women who are as equally hardworking,” said Rachelle Layda, marketing manager of Flawlessly U.

The beauty brand launched its #NotAPrincessStillFlawless campaign last July 3, Wednesday in ASPACE Crossroads, Cebu City with three strong-willed and multi-talented Cebuanas who are as empowered as they could be: Carissah Mari, medical professional, and beauty and fashion influencer; Juanita Romualdez, athlete, event coordinator and performing artist; and Wynonah Buot, beauty queen and active volunteer.

According to Layda, the brand launched the first leg of its campaign in Cebu as it recognized how Cebu’s influence can highlight the importance of its campaign for every Filipina.

“This is a first for Splash. We realized the influence that the Cebuanos have and we know for a fact, that their influence can reach not just Cebu but the Visayas, Mindanao and even Manila. So we want the Cebuanos to spread our message because we have quite a strong following in Cebu. That’s why Cebu is one of the important regions for us,” she said.

Flawlessly U has a wide array of products after the Extract brand from the ‘80s was redefined, offering Filipinas more choices for their skin.

“It used to be Extract way back in the ‘80s but in 2015, we rebranded it to Flawlessly U so we could offer a broader range of products that goes beyond whitening,” Layda said.

“We started off with whitening but in the portfolio, we would want to expand more on exfoliation. It’s not just whitening that we offer in our current product range, we also have moisturizing and smoothening. It’s multi-beneficial.”

Best known for its multiple benefits, the brand comes in different product formats for face and body in Papaya + Calamansi, Green Papaya + Calamansi, and Kojic + Gluthathione.
