The Central Visayas Football Association (CVFA) will gun for its first win when it plays away in Iloilo in the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Stars of Tomorrow Boys 15 tournament in Barotac Nuevo on July 6, 2019.

After losing its opener to Negros Occidental Football Association, CVFA needs to win to stay in the hunt for the two spots for the Visayas elimination in the national finals.

However, it will have to do that without captain Vaugh Pacaña, who got injured during their loss to Nofa last week.

The team, which now has Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) coach Ralph Plaza in the coaching staff, will be fielding DBTC’s Andres Custado, Simon del Camp, Christian Lusoc, Javier Renzo, William Oberes, Joross Tabar, Dominic Ledesma, Carlos Vitualla, Joseph Garces, Carsten Pumareja and Nethanon Lingaton. They will also have Jake Gomez of Consolacion, Mark Lester Zafra of Abellana National School, John Andrew Mandawe, Raphael Senining, Gustavo Larrañaga of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu and John Ziel Sala and Reiji Tabuelog of Don Bosco Boys Home.

After the Iloilo game, CVFA will host Eastern Visayas FA on July 20 before visiting the same team a week later on July 27. ML
