ANG Cebu City Government makigtambayayong sa ilang mga depository banks para mapasayon ug mapadali ang pagbayad sa mga tawo sa ilang mga buhisanan ngadto sa gobiyerno.
Kini ang gibutyag ni Mayor Edgardo Labella human nisugyot si City Treasurer Jerone Castillo para di na maghuot ang mga taxpayer sa City Treasurer’s Office para pagbayad sa ilang buhis.
Gipadayag sa mayor nga sa di pa sila mopirma og memorandum of agreement (MOA) tali sa tulo ka mga banko sama sa Land Bank of the Philippines, Development Bank of the Philippines ug Veterans Bank, mangayo una siya og pagtugot sa City Council.
Si Castillo nagkanayon nga kon mapatuman na kini sa Cebu City Government, di na unya maglinya og taas ang mga tawo sa City Hall aron mabayran ang ilang regulatory fees, business tax ug real property tax.
“This is to ease up and probably declog the City Treasurer’s Office as a collecting zone with this, we can probably hasten payment on taxes,” matod ni Castillo. (PAC)
