CAMP OLIVAS -- Two members of the Central Luzon police were proclaimed winners during the Awards night of the Search for the 1st Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon Men of Excellence.

The said awarding was held at the PANA hall here on Thursday, said P/Lt. Col. Fe Grenas, chief of the PRO-Central Luzon Public Information Office (PIO).

Grenas said the search was launched last June 20, 2018 at the Imerex Hotel, Angeles City which was conceptualized by the PRO3 Command Group in partnership with the St Catherine Realty Corporation headed by Erwin Dizon.

She said the search aims to highlight and pay tribute to the exemplary performance of deserving police officers in Central Luzon and who have been the living epitomes of the PNP’s four (4) core values of the PNP: MakaDiyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa.

The winners were P/Capt. Dennis Duran, a member of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 and P/Master Sgt. Melody Rodriguez of the PRO3 Regional Headquarters.

Grenas said each of them received residential lots worth P1.5M each from the St Catherine Realty Corporation.

“This search is very timely lalo na ngayon na kabi-kabila ang mga alegasyon ng katiwalian na ikinakabit sa ating kapulisan, nararapat lamang na kilalanin ang mga katangi-tangi at magigiting nating mga pulis na buong katapatang nagsisilbi upang mapangalagaan ang kaayusan sa ating mga komunidad.

And here in Police Regional Office 3, we have a lot of PNP personnel who continuously serve our communities with dedication and faithfulness to our profession,” said P/Brig. Gen. Joel Napoleon Coronel, PRO3 director.

Coronel said the search truly helps nurture heroes from zeros and identify homegrown gems of PRO-Central Luzon.
