I did not cheat anyone.
These were the words of Bro. Eli Soriano, a preachewr from Ang Dating Daan. He easily overlooked how he distorted the Bible to deceive his listeners. I heard him said these words in his program at UNTV on June 26, 2019, at about 11 a.m.
He was answering questions from the people from different part of the country and the world. If distorting the words in the Bible is cheating, then he was not lying. The Bible should be allowed to speak for itself. The Bible introduced the words of the prophets, apostles and disciples of jesus, as their writings or letters. Then Bro. Eli told the people that these are the words of God. How did these ordinary mortals become God?
But the worst distortion I heard from this preacher was when he said in the same program earlier aired that “The sons of God are fallen angels.” Even a man with a logic of a ten-year-old, can discern that Bro. Eli distorted the word of the Bible.
The sons of God were not introduced in the Bible as being who did something wrong. And then by the words of this preacher, they became fallen angels. Where did this preacher get his Bible concordance? Most probably from the head of the fallen angels. (Chito E. Germino,Paknaan,Mandaue City)
