MILK tea, pearls, and sugar level – those are only some of the terms in the food language that millennials and other millennials at heart speak of.

The trend and the craze over milk tea has been going on for years now and with the current situation, it seems like it’s still far from dying. Milk tea shop owners are very innovative and adapts fast to the trends and taste preferences of their customers. That could be the reason the milk tea industry is still growing, not only in Davao City but nationwide as well.

Why do they continue to thrive over the years? The answer is innovation and a lot of new stuff going on.

Last Friday, July 5, the first Juice Cubi branch in the Philippines opened at the second floor of SM City Davao Annex. With their wide selection of beverages, ranging from quality milk tea to fruit-based juices, Juice Cubi could be the new “tambayan” destination for friends and family.

During their grand opening, they had a buy one take one promo of their beverages for the first 100 customers who also received metal straws for free.

Some of their best sellers include the Grapefruit Overload, S.C. Milktea, Cubi Pearl Caramel Milk, Cubi Strawberry, Cubi Mango, Milktea Overload, Cubi Special Milktea, Ocean Breeze, Starry Night, and Lady in Red.

(Writer’s Note: Order Starry Night and behold of the magic it comes with. You’re welcome)

As most milk tea shops, you can choose the sweetness level of your beverage from 0 to 100 percent but the best part of hanging out at Juice Cubi are the food you can munch on while sipping on some milky and tasty beverage. They have fried banana split, chicken calamares, cheezy bacon sausage, spiced chicken pops, eggtart, and egg waffle.

There are already so many milk tea shops in the city but pay Juice Cubi a visit and you will realize that this growing community of milk tea shops still has so much more to offer.
