POLICE authorities are tracing back the previous records of the robbery suspect killed after fighting against the police operatives during a hot pursuit operation in San Carlos, Valencia City, Bukidnon, on Friday, July 5.

The suspect's identity has yet to be known as of press time but he was described as having a big build, and around 25 to 30 years old.

Investigators said two female employees of Frontrow Direct Selling Company in the city reported that they were robbed at gunpoint by the suspect, Friday morning.

The Valencia City Police immediately launched a hot pursuit operation and located the suspect.

Police said the suspect sped off after noticing their presence while firing his gun towards the operatives.

Responding policemen hit the suspect on the chest and abdomen. He was brought to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Authorities recovered a 45 caliber firearm, a magazine, motorcycle, fired cartridges and a sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as “shabu.”

Also recovered were personal items owned by the robbery hold-up victims including cash and other valuables and ATM cards possibly owned by other victims.

"We are still backtracking on previous victims of robbery hold up. Initially there were previous incidents that suspect used similar motorcycle," Lieutenant Colonel Surki Serenas, Valencia City Police Office chief, said.
