A MOTORBANCA with foreign divers onboard capsized off Malapascua Island in Daanbantayan, Cebu Monday, July 8.
The divers were hopping from one island to another when the accident happened around 11 a.m. Monday.
The boat had 21 passengers. Onboard were 13 foreign divers, three foreign dive instructors, one local dive master, and three crew members.
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)-San Remigio immediately dispatched rescuers to the area after receiving a report about the incident.
