THE greatest compliments that a columnist like me can receive are favorable words from subjects.
We received reactions from Madam Tess Carlos and Tess Laus with regards to the column “Three Dragon Ladies Named Tess” thru Viber. We quote them verbatim:

Just wish to share my personal views. I think Ate Tess (Laus) & Ate Tess (Chua) both truly deserve the description as written by Atty. Atlee! Whatever resources we see under the Laus Group & Chua Family (Kings, etc.) are theirs.
What you see under House of David (HD) Group is owned by the HD Family. I am just one of the 7 children (Gen. 2 – second generation).
Whatever you see about BOF (Bank of Florida).. the money we manage is owned by our valued & loyal depositors. It is tough to manage other people’s money. Our hands are tied by BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas).
So what do I own? What are my real treasures? Here are they... My 4 children (Paolo, Tin, JC & Therese). Of course, my additional treasures are my true friends... The Laus Family. The Chua-Ong Family.
I feel so BLESSED having them, very close to my hearts and very dear to us. How I wish I could be like MOTHER THERESA, who did not really have much, but truly a very INSPIRING WOMAN who has touched so many lives & made a difference! Oh! But of course, I am very far from MOTHER THERESA! I was just thinking aloud & wish to share my inner most feelings.
Tess Laus: “Hi Terry I am humbled by the article but I have to give credits to my children - Lisset is now chairman and CEO, Paul (Con Con) is the President and Dior, Aissa and LA have their own designations and I am just there guiding them, giving my you call it, words of wisdom.
I want to see them manage the companies. Most of all I trust them with my whole heart. Levy had prepared them well. And I praise and thank God for them. Pray with us that they will continue the legacy of Levy - living a life of simplicity, humility and compassion.
