TO SHARE expert skills on sales and sales management, the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Philippines South is mounting its first workshop to the public.

Dubbed as “Building a Winning Sales Culture - Driving Towards Hyper Sales Growth,” this workshop will be facilitated by Jack Daly, an acclaimed expert in the sales industry.

“It’s Jack Daly’s Asian tour which is organized by us. We want to share his resource with entrepreneurs in this part of the Philippines,” said Stanley Yap, president of EO Philippines South, in a press conference Monday, July 8, 2019.

Daly has more than 30 years of sales and sales management experience with a proven success record.

He built six businesses from scratch into national sized firms, two of which were sold on Wall Street and now, he helps companies build their businesses.

By-invitation only

Brian Chua, membership chairperson, said EO is an exclusive and by-invitation only group of business owners that aims to build the world’s most influential group of entrepreneurs.

The group started in the United States in 1987. To date, it has about 13,000 members in 55 countries. In the Philippines, EO has about 165 members, 19 of which are from Cebu. Chua said EO Philippines South is scouting for 11 more business owners to join the group.

EO is the only global network exclusively for entrepreneurs. The group helps leading entrepreneurs learn and grow through peer-to-peer learning, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and connections to experts.

To be an EO member, one has to be the business owner, the majority shareholder, the founder or the one who is managing the business.

Gift to entrepreneurs

“It’s a peer-to-peer learning organization. Learning is a big part of what our organization is,” he said.

“It’s also an opportunity for Cebu-based as well as Visayas and Mindanao-based business owners to learn about EO and how it works,” Chua added.

By opening the workshop to the public, Julie Vergara, myEO committee chairperson, said this will build EO’s brand and advocate learning inside the organization.

“It’s a great opportunity to talk about EO because we’re all about learning,” she said. Vergara said they want to increase their number of members.

“EO is a gift to entrepreneurs. It’s peer-to-peer learning and it’s being with people with the same mind as you,” she said.

The half-day workshop which has a P3,000 rate will be held on Aug. 5, 2019 in Radisson Blu. The activity targets 300 participants.JOB
