IPAAMENDAR ni Gobernador Gwen Garcia sa Cebu Provincial Board ang mga ordinansa nga nagtukod sa upat ka mga departamento sa Kapitolyo sa panahon sa administrasyon ni kanhi gobernador ug karon Bise Gobernador Hilario Davide III aron mahimong divisions.
Ang mga departamento nga gusto sa gobernador ma-downgrade ngadto sa pagka divisions mao ang Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), Cebu Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Office (Cpadao), Cebu Provincial Investment and Promotions Office (Cpipo) ug Provincial Tourism Office (PTO).
Sumala ni Provincial Board Member Christopher Baricuatro, marjority floor leader, nga gusto sa gobernador nga makadaginot ang Kapitolyo sa pundo sa pagpanweldo sa mga empleyado.
“Naa may 4th tranche of increase sa mga salary sa mga plantilla position. They were studying it nga i-peg lang sila sa as division heads rather than department kay maapil man sila sa tranche nga pa-increase every year,” dason ni Baricuatro sa mga tigbalita.

“Now, if we downgrade these to divisions, we will now only be spending P11,543,000 for salaries or monthly savings of P15,515,000. In one year that is P186 million. This is for the four departments only,” dugang ni Garcia. (SCG)
