THE operation of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Bacolod City is now back to normal, the NBI official said yesterday.

NBI-Bacolod head Renoir Baldovino said they are now accepting applications for NBI clearance processing.

He said their operation’s temporarily stopped last week because of the unstable power supply that affected their online data.

“So we have to bring the server to Manila for a repair or re-program and it was only fixed on Friday,” he added.

Baldovino noted that they can accommodate about 350 applicants daily.

Baldovino said the applicants should register online, sign in to complete the application form, schedule an appointment with the NBI, and pay to the NBI clearance center for imaging and biometrics.

He said the applicants should register online to avoid long line at NBI office.

“Sorry for the temporary inconvenience and our operation is now back to normal. Thank you for the understanding,” he added.
