AN ESTIMATED P27,000 worth of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) was seized in a drug bust by operatives of Police Station 8 in Purok Kahirup, Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City on Monday, July 8.
The operation also led to the arrest of Jess Mar Cezar, 22, of Purok 3, Barangay Singcang-Airport.
Police Major Charles Gever, chief of Police Station 8, said Cezar was arrested after he sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover at 1 a.m.
Police recovered from Cezar’s possession six sachets of shabu, the P200 marked money.
The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 8. He is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
