THE latest survey showed the President has an 80 percent satisfaction rating, despite his friendly stance on China regarding our seas.

We have to know whether the survey was conducted in China.

Because the supermajority had fun driving the opposition out of Congress, they thought it was fun fighting each other on who gets the bigger posts.

There has been an agreement now among leading contenders for House Speaker that there will be term-sharing. The public though, wants a bigger share of funds for public service: for better schools, better public hospitals, better health services.

Chinese Navy to Pinoy fisherfolks: You no fish here, we park here first.

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno to Chinese national caught urinating in public: You no piss here, you don’t make this city your latrine.

By doing that, Isko proves you don’t get into war to stand up against our super trading partner as Malacañang fears. You don’t need to have ROTC to fight the Chinese for their abuse of law. You don’t back down from a superpower who thinks the Constitution is just toilet paper. You just need to speak with balls and act a little pissed.

Social media is also flushing out the statement of newly elected Senator Bato dela Rosa on a three-year-old killed in a drug bust when he said “Sh*t happens”.

Kabataan Partylist said this shows how government has failed to provide quality of life for children especially from impoverished families. Bayan Muna Eufemia Callamat, a Manobo, said that is how police and military think when they commit abuses during their operations on Lumad and children in the provinces.

Bato has apologized for his remark. Someone needs to take more seminars in statesmanship.

Manuel Piñol has resigned from his post as agriculture secretary, after several controversial acts such as the stunt of eating bokbok rice during the rice crisis, and staging that presscon with Pinoy fisherfolk over that Chinese vessel mishap.

But Piñol is reportedly given a new post, as head of Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) that will oversee the newly formed Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Barmm).

Someone should warn the government that eating leftover rice is not good in the long run.

Not so news: It’s week two in Congress, the Duterte Youth is still not in the House because their representative is not qualified. They want to rally in protest but they can’t also find qualified rallyists.
