WITH the increase of measles cases in Iloilo City, Mayor Jerry P. Treñas has ordered to intensify the vaccine shots against measles in all 189 barangays in Iloilo.
The Department of Health said it is alarmed over the increase of measles cases in Western Visayas for the first two months this year compared to 2009.
Treñas said the health report is alarming and the situation may aggravate if the City Government will not find immediate solutions to address the clean water shortage. (Lydia C. Pendon)
