Man nabbed for illegal firearm

A 49-YEAR-OLD man was arrested for illegal possession of firearm at Sitio Kimba, Barangay Cansojong, Talisay City, Sunday evening, July 14, 2019.

Authorities identified the suspect as Arnolfo Casulla. He was reportedly under the influence of liquor when he was arrested.

Police Major Orlando Carag Jr. said they received a report from a concerned citizen that Casulla carried an unlicensed .45 calibre firearm.

“The suspect was caught in the act of having in his possession one .45 calibre firearm loaded with five ammunitions. When we asked from him the firearm’s document, he had nothing to present,” Carag said.

Casulla is now in the custody of Talisay City Police Station. (SunStar Cebu)
