GOD has His own way of taking care of the abused children whose wounds were said to be inflicted either by a family member or by someone else.

Through the Holy Family Home-Bacolod Foundation, Inc. located at Purok Santan, Barangay Cabug, Bacolod City, these victims are taken cared of specifically on their need for love, protection, shelter and even education.

Thrust by the love of Jesus Christ who gives His life to bring back the lost sheep to the sheepfold of the only Good Shepherd and inspired by the Franciscan - Amigonian ideal of love, mercy and compassion, the Holy Family Home envisions a Christ-centered, just, fraternal and peaceful society, where children and youth especially women, are respected as persons with rights and dignity; and are promoted in their potential for being active members of the society in harmony with other people and the whole creation.

This institution tries to welcome, protect, rehabilitate, and educate marginalized children and youth in order to attain their integral formation and assure them of their human and Christian participation in the society. This then is its motto, "A child redeemed is a generation saved."

Over the weekend, the Negros Occidental High School Batch 1993 headed by its Batch president Greg Ocampo visited the Holy Family Home for an outreach activity. They brought packs of lunch for the children and teenagers who live under the said institution.

It was heart breaking to see these children live without the love and care of their own parents. Yes, they survived such situation but then it would be different to live in one's own home.

But since, they were abused, it was right to distance them from the environment that made their lives miserable.

The role of the Holy Family Home is very crucial to bring these children to full recovery.

The community never stops providing them assistance in their daily sustenance.
