"In our mission to increase literacy by making books affordable and accessible to everyone, we are excited to bring our wide selection of brand new English books to the northern part of the Philippines," said Jacqueline Ng, Founder of the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale. "Cabalens can look forward to a lot of fiction books from well-known authors such as JK Rowling, Paulo Coelho, Rick Riordan and more. Aside from this, we heard that Pampanga is the culinary capital of the Philippines so youíll get to see a lot of cookbooks as well," she added.

The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale will also be selling their unique Magical Books. Being the exclusive distributor of Magical Books in Asia, these books contain Augmented Reality (AR) technology that revolutionizes reading for the next generation. It allows children to sing, dance, read and play at the same time, making them part of the charactersí come alive journey in the story. During the sale, Big Bad Wolf books will offer a total of twelve Magical Books, with six of them being new titles in comparison to the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Manila 2019.

"During our sales in Manila, Cebu, and Davao, we saw a lot of families that were at the Book Sale spending time picking books together. Instilling reading habit from young is important and we provide a variety of books to ensure that every family member has a book to take home, especially the little ones," said Ng.

ìOur Magical Books provide an interactive learning experience, making reading more fun and entertaining and this is a good tool to attract children to start reading,î she added.

Aside from bringing the best in quality English books to all book lovers, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale also believes in giving back to the community.

Big Bad Wolf Books' corporate social responsibility arm is continuing its Red Readerhood Programme here in Pampanga by giving back to the society through the partnership with Gawad Kalinga to furnish Gawad Kalinga's community libraries and schools with more books.

During the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Manila 2019, our first sale at the Philippines in 2019, we collected a total of 6,838 books donated to Gawad Kalinga's partner communities with 5,838 books donated by our generous customer and 1,000 from Big Bad Wolf Books.

For the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Pampanga, it will kick-start the initiative by pledging 500 books and sale goers can also pay it forward by purchasing a book from the designated Red Readerhood booth at the Sale. Books received from the sale will be donated to Gawad Kalinga communities in the Philippines.

"Through our beneficiary partnership with Big Bad Wolf Books, we are looking forward to a future where libraries are the main feature of every barangay," said Luis OquiÒena, executive director of Gawad Kalinga.

"By giving the underserved communities an opportunity to learn and grow through the quality English books, we are helping to bridge the learning gap to create a more inclusive learning environment. We believe that everyone deserves to learn and in line with the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale mission, we hope through this partnership, we are able to change the world, one book at a time," he added.
