HOMEGROWN real estate company Damosa Land Inc. recently bagged awards for Damosa Diamond Tower in three categories from the Philippines Property Awards 2019.

“As it rises, the Damosa Diamond Tower is already a testament of the company’s commitment to sustainability as well as in the transformation of the skyline of Davao City,” said Ricardo F. Lagdameo, first vice president of Damosa Land, Inc.

Damosa Diamond Tower won the Best Office Architectural Design for its distinct features such as green roof deck, solar energy, LED lights, and exterior fin placement on its façade where gentle weave patterns function in helping the building's insulation system.

Damosa Diamond Tower also received Highly Commended Awards for Best Office Development and Best BPO Office Development.

Damosa Diamond Tower is a 15-story building at the Philippine Economic Zone Authority-accredited IT park, the Damosa IT Park in Damosa District. DLI broke ground for the project in 2018 and it is targeted for completion by 2020.

Damosa Diamond Tower has a total floor area of 20,000 sq.m and will reflect a piece of Davao's history and the heritage of the Floirendo family's agricultural roots in its overall aesthetics, hence, will have banana fibers incorporated in the design. It will be fully operational 24/7 as it will have 100-percent back-up power supply.

Property Guru gave away 39 Philippines Property Awards to property projects all over the Philippines, where they received 80 entrees from different real estate companies.

Aside from DLI, Property Guru also gave out awards to Megaworld, Ayala Land, SMDC, ArthaLand, Torre Lorenzo, and Grand Land.

“Those who will be recognized tonight are truly the movers and shakers of the property industry,” said Cristophe Vicic, chair for this year’s board of judges. Vicic is the country manager for the Philippines of the prestigious Jones Lang LaSalle, a global real estate services firm specializing in commercial property and investment management. (With PR)
