AN ESTIMATED P271, 200 worth of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) was seized in separate drug bust operations of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) in Bacolod City over the weekend.
The operations also led to the arrest of five drug personalities identified as Eduardo Dayon, 33, of Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2; Nove Horillo, 35, of Barangay 3, Bacolod City, and his companions Jerry Emilia, 33, Rosito Sucero, 48, and Rayman Javier, 46, all residents of Bago City.
Police records showed that Dayon was arrested by operatives of Police Station 3 led by Police Major Ruel Culanag after he sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover at Bangga Subay, Barangay Mandalagan at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019.
Police recovered from Dayonís possession five big plastic sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P250, 000, and the P500 marked money.
Operatives of Police Station 7 also arrested Horillo and his three companions at Purok Tilapia, Barangay 3 on Saturday afternoon, July 13, 2019.
Police recovered from the suspectsí possession six sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P21, 200, the P200 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
The suspects are detained at the custodial facilities of Police Stations 3 and 7 and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
