THE Dissenter Bad Boys slammed the Aniceta Red Vipers, 97-75, for their second straight win in the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Cebu Basketball League First Conference at the Capitol Parish Gym on Saturday, July 13, 2019.
Lito Ortiz canned in 25 points for the Bad Boys, former Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) stalwart Kern Sesante handed 14, Ferdi Riveral chipped in 13, while Edward Bauzon and Reiner Apolinario scored 12 apiece.
Joshua Belarmino exploded for 41 points while Atan Villegas added 20 in a losing effort for the Red Vipers.
The Bad Boys improved to 2-1 (win-loss) record while the Red Vipers remain winless in three games.
The Pañeros, meanwhile, beat the Spartans, 97-83, to stay undefeated after three games.
Gerald Ace Pelare led the way for the Pañeros with 20 points, Franklin Manching added 16, Luib chipped in 16, Ray Vince Binag contributed 13 and Michael Ray Molde added 10.
Redemtor Regis top-scored for the Spartans with 29, while Matt Medalle added 17, Andrew Entera added 14 and Charles Divinagracia handed 12.
The Spartans dropped to 2-1 record.
In the other game, the Cebu Lex Idols defeated the Rebels, 76-54. The Idols improved to 2-1 slate while the Rebels dropped to 0-3.
Edwin Estorgio was the game’s top scorer with 24 while teammate Tommy Yu added 14 and Jeremy Nuñez chipped in eight points.
