Geamala, sa Deparment of Welfare and Development (DSWD) 7, “Educating fathers about their role and capacity in the upbringing of a child is crucial to the development of the society. Thus, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) included in the Family Developmental Sessions (FDS) of Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries the program for fathers called Erpat.”
Ang Erpat sama sa papa, tatay maoy Filipino term sa amahan, apan sa DSWD kini gihimong acronym alang sa Empowerment and Re-affirmation of Paternal Abilities.
Usa sa mga amahan nga nakabenepisyo sa programa mao si Rosalito Lisondra, ERPAT leader sa Barangay, Kasambagan, Cebu City.
“Ang usa ka amahan, modelo sa iyang pamilya. Siya ang mag-giya sa iyang pamilya nga matunhay ug mamaayo ang padulngan sa mga anak (A father is a role model to his family. He makes sure that he guides his family, children on the right way),” matod ni Lisondra. (Tampo)
