AS part of the company’s thrust in helping Cebuano talents in sports, the Sports Exchange Bar will hold the Sports Exchange 10-Ball Challenge at its fully-air conditioned billiard hall located at the third floor of Mango Square.
Kevin Cook, a foreign national who owns the bar said the tournament is open to all Cebuano cue artists and and those from neighboring areas.
The tournament is set to start at 1 p.m. on March 21. It will follow a four-day elimination series where the top four in each day will automatically qualify for the quarterfinals round.
Aside from the trophies, a cash prize of P20,000 is up for grabs for the champion, while the runner-up will get P8,000. The third and fourth placers will each receive P4,000.
The 12 qualifiers in the quarterfinal round will get a consolation prize of P300 each.
