CELEBRATING the culmination of “Denim Month,” Best of Cebu Mall of the Year 2018 SM Seaside City Cebu highlights all things denim with a fashion show gathering some of the best fashionistas and designers in the Queen City.
During the runway show “Denim Academy,” representatives from each institution are set to showcase their cutting-edge designs worn by ace models in the industry.
With the theme “Celebrating Everything Denim,” the mall hosts a special event for young fashion designers in collaboration with the different institutions in the city including Fashion Institute of the Philippines, Fashion Institute of Design & Arts; plus the design schools of Cebu Institute of Technology-University, Southwestern University-PHINMA, University of San Carlos and the University of the Philippines.
Denim makes for a classic fashion statement whole year round and it does not go out of style. Brands like American Eagle, Dickies, Forever 21, Guess, Levi’s and The SM Store have been bearers of this style giving life to maong, making it creatively versatile.
