THERE are off days and you just can’t deny it. Arghhh. Sometimes it feels even worse because you know it’s going to be an off day the moment you opened your eyes! You kinda groan in silence and roll your eyes. And take a deep breath before you let out one of those deepest sighs usually reserved for days of doom. I forced myself to sit up, still stuporous and unwilling to start my day so early...and fell off the bed landing butt first on the floor.
Yeah. It’s that kind of day. I was screaming from the inside not really wanting to call the universe’s attention on myself. I really, really don’t want Belle’s mercury in retrograde falling on me like a ton of bricks! You know about days when things can only get worse? This is one of those days!
So how do you deal with days like this? I know we have different ways of dealing with our stuff. We know though, that no matter what, we keep fighting, right? No matter how tough things may get we keep working towards our goals. Sometimes the roads are rougher and the people more unfriendly but we battle it out still, working at the obstacles step by step until we get past it.
Sometimes we are not in the mood to put up with the fight too. There are many reasons but I guess when you really think about it, we let the bad thoughts and feelings win simply because we are just too tired to put in the effort to whisk it away.
“Not in the mood” for anything is such a blah feeling. Aside from being glum, it is very easy to become irritable. Geez, not being in the mood is like open season for feelings not bright and shiny! Ughhh. You just need to be more patient and learn to let the storm blow over without being blown away. It will help to remember how much sitting through such times one learns about life.
Life is beautiful but it is not always a bed of roses. The challenges are going to continue to try and break us so it is up to us to learn how to deal with its consequences. At the end of the day, the mood passes and we have lived another day. Hopefully better equipped for the future hopefully with a smile on our faces and limitless hope in our hearts too!
