Intensified manhunt operations yield 9 MWPs

CAMP OLIVAS -- Intensified police operations against Central Luzon’s most wanted persons resulted in the arrest of nine persons over the weekend.

PRO Central Luzon Regional Director Brig Gen. Joel Napoleon Coronel said the outcome is a result of the continuous operations against most wanted persons.

Those arrested were: Freddie Miguel Gragasin alias “Mario,” ranked No. 2 most wanted of Mabalacat for rape; Kelvin Navarro Lazara, ranked No. 8 most wanted of Sasmuan for frustrated murder; and Elfer Artisuela Dangoy aka “Ondo,” ranked No. 10 most wanted of Floridablanca for homicide.

Similarly, Zambales police operatives arrested the following: Rodel Dela Cruz Valencia ranked No. 5 most wanted of Palauig for murder; Paulo Dela Cruz Luces ranked No. 8 most wanted of Subic for Violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 and direct assault; and Nenette Tarayao Caragdag, ranked No. 8 most wanted of San Felipe for Violation of BP 22 (5 counts).

Also arrested were Larry Barientos Arimbuyutan, ranked No. 5 most wanted of Gabaldon for rape in relation to RA 7610; Eliseo Donacao Arandia, ranked No. 6 most wanted of Mariveles for rape; and Armando Apalla Mercado, ranked No. 10 most wanted of City of San Jose Del Monte for qualified theft (3 counts) and Violation of RA 10883 (carnapping).

Coronel said, this “goes to show that Region 3 is no safe haven for criminals and that the entire Central police cops are working 24/7 to keep our communities safe from all persons being sought by law." (PR)
