SOUTH Bacolod General Hospital and Medical Center, Inc. (SBGHMCI) in partnership with the Negros First Provincial Blood Center of the Province of Negros Occidental has conducted a Blood Letting Activity in celebration of the Blood Donor’s Month last July 5.
A total of 43 blood donors took part in the activity, with 35 employees of the hospital and 8 non-SBGH employee volunteers who donated their blood. The activity ran from 9 o’clock in the morning to 12 noon at the SBGHMCI Conference Room.
This annual activity organized by the hospital aims to promote the awareness on the importance of blood and encourage regular blood donations to save lives and ensure that blood is readily available for those who need it. (PR)
