NINETEEN drug personalities were caught by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 7 agents and other anti-narcotics operatives in separate operations in three villages in Cebu City.
Authorities seized P230,000 worth of suspected shabu and they dismantled three drug dens on Sunday night, July 21, 2019. Village officials participated during the inventory of evidence.
At 6:30 p.m., the PDEA 7 led the drug bust against Raymart “Kaypong” Montemor, who was arrested in a drug den in Barangay Quiot.
They also caught alleged drug den maintainers Josepiro P. Cabido and Irene Barquin Cabido, and suspected users—Jay V. Ypila, Veronico B. Lausa Jr., Jeffrey S. Ramirez and Rene Badayos Lausa.
Seized from them were 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P81,600 and drug paraphernalia.
The PDEA 7 operatives were assisted by the personnel of Cebu City Police Station 10, Regional Special Operations Group 7 and Provincial Intelligence Branch.
Thirty minutes later, alleged drug den maintainer Augustine Taboada and six suspected users—Riez Jergen, Eric Nunez, Renaldo Pitos, Ariel Valiente, Nicasio Mapalo Jr. and Alexis Borbon—were caught on A. Lopez Street in Barangay Labangon.
The last drug den that was dismantled by the PDEA 7 was located in Sitio Cogon, Barangay Labangon. Arrested were alleged drug den maintainer Robert P. Entera and his suspected customers Kenny Lohis C. Sanchez, Justine Fernandez, Jerry C. Pagador and Felix E. Lupian. (from AYB of SuperBalita Cebu/KAL)
