‘Pulis Natin Caravan’ held in Zambo

THE Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula on Wednesday, July 24, held a caravan to accommodate gun holders acquire License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) in Zamboanga City and nearby areas.

Police Brigadier General Froilan Quidilla, PRO-Zamboanga Peninsula director, said the caravan was aimed to make it easier for gun owners to apply for new LTOPF and renewal of gun licenses.

Quidilla said the Regional Civil Security Unit (RCSU)-Zamboanga Peninsula received applications for LTOPF and for the delinquent gun owners to have their expired LTOPF’s renewed.

The caravan was from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday at the City Mall in the village of Tetuan, this city.

Quidilla said the one-day caravan was a one-stop shop activity wherein applicants can processed the requirements for LTOPF such as the neuro-psychiatric screening, drug test, police clearance and clearance from the court or National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

He said the activity is part of the “Pulis Natin Caravan” aimed at bringing the police services closer to the people. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
