CLTV36, dwRW 95.1 FM bag golden doves anew

THE LausGroup-run broadcast networks CLTV36 and dwRW 95.1 FM bagged anew two golden doves each, during the 27th Golden Dove Awards held at the Star Theater, Star City Complex in Pasay City on July 23, 2019.

CLTV36 was named for the fourth time as "Best Provincial TV Station." The network was a sole nominee among 300 major and local stations in the country for the category, said CLTV deputy general manager Billy San Juan.

At the same time, CLTV36's "Central Luzon Youth Forum" was recognized as "Best Public Affairs Program," added San Juan.

Meanwhile, dwRW 95.1 FM was named "Best Provincial FM Station in the Country," a feat it accomplished similarly for the fourth time.

DwRW's "Earth Talk Central Luzon" was also feted with the Golden Dove for "Best Provincial Public Affairs Program."

Themed "Soaring High as We Bring the Significance of the Craft of TV and Radio Broadcasting," the 27th Golden Dove Awards is a continuing advocacy of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP).

It is an annual awarding ceremony recognizing television and radio stations from Metro Manila and the provinces, programs, personalities, public service announcements and promotional materials coming from KBP-member broadcasting companies. (JTD)
