Church, CCCI hold golf fund-raiser

THE Bukas Loob sa Diyos (Cebu) Foundation Inc. will organize a golf tournament aimed at engaging lay and clergy men and entrepreneurs for fellowship.

Virgilio Espeleta, servant-leader for Management Services Ministry and president of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said this will be an opportunity for businessmen and lay and clergy men to interact with each other.

“It is to achieve alignment and collaboration among influential organizations and their leaders. The idea of bringing them together in a playful atmosphere can bring about healthy collaboration to achieve common or complementing goals,” he said.

Set on July 26, 2019, Friday, at the Cebu Country Club, Espeleta said the tournament is also expected to foster friendship among all participants.

“It is also to foster friendship, alignment, and open areas of common interests among the seemingly disinterested groups whose work may be poles apart yet equally deserving of respect and honor,” he said.

Registration fee is P3,000 and the funds that will be raised will be for the mission and evangelization works of the Bukas Loob sa Diyos, a Catholic Charismatic Covenant Community.

Espeleta said it will create awareness, understanding and open opportunities, linkages and collaboration.

“Businessmen, entrepreneurs and leaders of institutions may support the works of the Lay and Clergy in their evangelization works affecting their families and community. Leaders and the lay and clergy may provide support and inspiration to businessmen and entrepreneurs as stewards, wealth creators and economic drivers for the good of the many,” he said. (JOB)
