Pampanga police office holds 1st Provincial Advisory Summit

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPPO) and its Provincial Advisory Council (PAC) held the 1st Provincial Advisory Council Summit at the Beverly Place, in Barangay Sabanilla, Mexico town on Wednesday.

Themed “Stakeholders’ Commitment Towards Genuine PNP Transformation and Sustainable Community Engagement,” the summit convened the chiefs of police, strategy management personnel and members of advisory councils in every police station in the province to better educate them of their roles towards achieving the Philippine National Police (PNP) Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding of the Rule of Law or the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030.

PNP Director of the Center for Police Strategy Management Brigadier General Noel Baraceros, in his message, reminded police officials of the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving the police’s common goal.

“Transformation and good governance are two great tasks that could not be done by any single individual or any single group, we need each other and everyone’s strong collaboration and support,” he said.

He also shared some of CPSM’s numerous milestones and breakthroughs such as the attainment of the over-all vision of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030 through the imposition of Individual Performance Scorecards.

He also cited the involvement of the growing number of Advisory Councils nationwide, which are composed by civilians including those from the academe, religious groups, and media among other sectors in the society, providing the PNP the much needed external expertise in areas most needed.

Police Regional Office III Regional Director Brigadier General Joel Coronel, for his part, urged the Pampanga police to be one with the whole PNP in continuously improving the delivery of their mandate to serve and protect the public.

“PRO-3, along with all the provincial and city police offices, including Pampanga PPO, is continuously drawing closer in achieving the final stage of the PGS. We may have great challenges and great opportunities ahead but, with your help, we will meet them all because of our determination not to give up but to persevere and carry through to the end,” he said.
