GIMANDO ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte ang pagpahunong sa tanang mga gaming activities sa Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) lakip na ang lotto, Small Town Lottery (STL) ug Peryahan nga Bayan tungod sa giingong nagkagrabe nga korapsyon sa maong ahensya.
Sugod niadtong adlawng Sabado, Hulyo 27, 2019 gipatuman sa Police Regional Office (PRO)-Northern Mindanao ang kamanduan ni Duterte nga hunungon ang tanan klase sa dula sa PCSO.
Matud ni Police Lieutenant Colonel Mardy Hortillosa kinsa tigpamaba sa PRO-Northern Mindanao nga deretsong nimando si Police Brigadier General Rafael Santiago Jr., ang regional director sa PRO-Northern Mindanao, nga ipatuman kini dayon karong panahona.
"Police Brigadier General Rafael Santiago Jr., directed his commanders to implement the said order through the order of Philippine National Police Chief Oscar Albayalde early morning today July 27, 2019," matud ni Hortillosa.
Ang kapulisan maoy gimandoan niini nga dakpon o arestuhon ang bisan kini nga nagpahigayon og gambling activities nga adunay kalambigitan sa franchises, licenses, concessions sa PCSO.
“I am ordering the PNP, PNP Chief Albayalde, to arrest anybody, and goes also for the military, to arrest people engaged in gambling activities in connection with the franchises, licenses, concessions granted by the PCSO, I will give them 24 hours to remove them from public places. Tomorrow, beginning tomorrow at sunrise, everything, all transactions and gaming, wager of bets, becomes illegal,” matud ni Duterte.
