GABRIEL Velasco booked a ticket to the July monthly finals after he ruled the Datba Weekly Singles Tournament at the SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center, Saturday evening, July 26.
He garnered a total of 622 pinfalls after three games with a handicap of 11.
The Araw ng Dabaw 2019 champion bested Joshua Disuacido and Manuel Nierra who placed second and third, respectively.
Disuacido scored 614, while Nierra amassed 586 pinfalls in the weekly qualifying event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) under its president Rameses Tancontian.
The top three winners of the 17-player bowlfest took home cash prizes of P900, P500, and P300.
A similar tournament is scheduled on Tuesday, July 30. (MLSA)
