OVERSEAS Filipino real estate buyers who want to have their dream houses customized may now seek the services of Filipino Homes Plus, a new subdidiary of the growing Filipino Homes Group of Companies.

Filipino Homes founder and chief executive officer Anthony Gerard Leuterio said Filipino Homes Plus targets lot-only owners who want to build their houses according to their liking, a niche market that is currently not served by existing developers.

“We saw the need of some clients who want to have custom-made houses, for example with five to six bedrooms not necessarily in a subdivision,” he said.

Filipino Homes Plus is a construction management company that specializes in custom-made houses.

“We are not supposed to be doing this but nobody is doing this,” said Leuterio, adding that his office has been receiving inquiries from lot-only buyers asking if the company could handle the specific details of their dream houses.

“There are specific requests like building a bigger room at the ground floor for the elders which cannot be served by existing developers,” said Azela Honor, head of Filipino Homes Plus. “Some clients can’t see their dream houses in the current projects offered by developers. They have specific needs and we want to address them.”

“This is actually a value-added service to our clients, an answer to their needs,” said Leuterio.

Filipino Homes Plus was officially launched on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. It showcased the model houses of Filipino Homes Plus located inside the gated subdivision of Midori Plains, a horizontal project of the Cebu Landmasters Inc. in Barangay Tungkop, Minglanilla.

Leuterio clarified that this venture will in no way compete with the developers but he rather sees this newfound opportunity as complementary to the industry.

“Overseas Filipinos are the ones fueling the growth of the economy and we don’t want to miss this oportunity that their needs will not be catered to properly,” he said. “Most overseas Filipino workers can’t handle the project management. This is where we come in.”

He added this value-added service will also give overseas Filipinos the confidence and protection that their investments here will be taken care of properly.

At present, the company has already 15 units built under the Filipino Homes Plus brand located in the Visayas and Mindanao.

Honor said they will build only mid-range houses worth P5 million and up.

She added they are confident the business will successfully take off as the group has thousands of lot-only listings.

Its mother company Filipino Homes is a comprehensive real estate solutions platform that provides one-stop-shop services for real estate buyers and sellers.

“When we started Filipino Homes, we saw value-added services to support our buyers,” said Leuterio.

Under Filipino Homes are ancillary businesses, namely Leuterio Realty and Brokerage, Happy Webs, Cleanmate, Rent.ph, Phil Builders, Condo Fit, Condo Fix, Build and Sell, Travel Savers, Insurance Savers powered by Insular Life and Live Eye—all indirect business ventures that support the booming real estate industry.
