A DRUG personality was caught in possession of a handgun with ammunition and some P12,000 worth of substance believed to be shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City.
Police Colonel Thomas Joseph Martir, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) director, identified the arrested suspect as Alhamin Nee alias Totoh, 40, a resident of Sitio Lustre in the village of Sta. Catalina.
Martir said the suspect was arrested after he sold a sachet of substance believed to be shabu in exchange for P200 to an undercover policemen during a drug bust around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, on Sebastian Drive in the village of Sta. Catalina.
Recovered from the suspect were a caliber .38 revolver with five live ammunition, P12,000 worth of shabu packed in seven heat-sealed plastic sachets, and P200 marked money.
Martir said appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect, who was detained. (SunStar Philippines)
