MISAMIS Oriental-1 Rural Electric Service Cooperative Inc. (Moresco-1) is also scheduling brownouts within its service area based on the recommended load shedding guide from National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
In an e-mailed statement, Moresco-1 would implement rotating brownouts starting Thursday until March 7.
The scheduled power interruption would affect customers from Lugait to Manticao on March 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and March 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Manticao to Initao on March 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and March 7 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Lasang in Initao to Lumbo in Alubijid on March 5 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and March 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; from Lumbo, Alubiid to Bolo-Bolo in El Savador on March 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and March 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; from Bolo-Bolo in El Salvador to Patag in Opol on March 4 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and March 6 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.; and from Patag in Opol to Barra in Opol on March 5 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and March 7 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Also included in the power interruption are 11 barangays in Cagayan de Oro, namely: Dansolihon, Tignapoloan, Besigan, Mambuaya, Bayanga, Pagalungan, Tagpangi, Taglimao, Tuburan, Pigsag-an, and Tumpagon on March 5 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and March 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and from Nicdao in Baungon to Cabula in Cagayan de Oro on March 5 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and March 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
From Patag in Opol to Barangays San Simon, Baikingon, Pagatpat and Canitoan in Cagayan de Oro, the scheduled brownout will be on March 4 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and March 6 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
At least 18 barangays of Talakag in Bukidnon will also be affected by the load shedding, which will be on March 5 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and March 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The affected barangays of Talakag are Barangay 1 to 5, San Isidro, San Antonio, San Niño, Lingion, Liguron, Dagumbaan, Cacaon, Babaguiohan, Kusina, Basak, Lantud, Sagaran, and Dagundalahon.
