Decked out with impressive features for a price tag that’s not too harsh on the bank account, the 2019 Gratour Minivan by Foton is a promising release.
This year’s iteration of the Gratour Minivan comes with an updated look and a more powerful engine. In the Philippines, this minivan is powered by a 1.5L DAM 15 DR gasoline engine with five-speed manual transmission.
For a family vehicle, the Gratour Minivan is quite compact, considering its eight-person capacity (with a customizable seat configuration, to boot). With a longer wheelbase, the newest minivan by the Chinese automobile manufacturer has spacious legroom for its passengers and cargo space for luggage and bulky items—it’s the perfect vehicle for the family’s next road trip.
Comfort of the passengers was key in designing this model. The interiors are thermally insulated, while both front and back passengers have their own separate air-conditioning so they can adjust the cabin’s temperature according to preference.
The all-new Gratour Minivan is also well equipped with safety features so that the family is safe during the long drive ahead: integrated fog and daytime running lights for low visibility, three-point seat belts, seat belt reminders, common and central control lock, remote control key, anti-lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution as well as an over-speed alarm.
Initially, Foton was known for its heavy-duty trucks and vans. With its latest entry in the minivan category, the brand proves that it can also compete in other segments in the market.
The 2019 Foton Gratour Minivan is available in five colors: Amber Bronze, Aurora White, Metallic Silver, Starry Blue and Space Gray.
