MANILA -- Thursday's recorded temperature of 36.4 degree Celsius is expected to become even more intense, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Pagasa forecaster Bobby Javier said the scorching temperature is just a sign of things to come.
“The rise in temperature all over the country is the effect of global warming,” Javier said.
The El Niño being experience by the country is expected to last until June, added the weather bureau. (Angela Casauay/Sunnex)
