CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Laus Group of Companies (LGC) and its partner banks from across Central and North Luzon on Friday, August 2, 2019, gathered at the LausGroup Event Centre here to “celebrate rain” anew.
“Celebrate Rain,” now on its third edition, is a regular program initiated by the late LGC Chairman and CEO Levy P. Laus, who dedicated a night of fun, games, raffles galore, entertainment and a sumptuous feast in a tropical rain forest setting for bankers to strengthen their partnership.
Shared new Chairman and CEO Lisset Laus-Velasco: “Why celebrate rain? Isn’t it rain is associated with calamity, flood and inconvenience? But if we look at the brighter side of rain, we will understand that it is really a blessing. We celebrate not only of the season but our partnership and thank the One above for all the blessings we have received and He continues to provide us.”

For her part, LGC Vice-President and Executive Director Carisa Laus thanked the bankers for joining the celebration inspired by her father, who was also a former banker.
