WITH the Build, Build, Build infrastructure program continuously commencing, the demand for manpower and heavy equipment is one of the looming problems for its implementation.

But with the continuous support of the private sectors, the problem is smoothly being addressed.

To meet up with the demands, Jinyi Import & Export Tranding Co. Inc. (Jinyi) opened their newest office in Davao City last Friday, August 2.

Jinyi moved to a bigger space in Panacan, from its previous office in Matina, to cater more clients in Davao City, and its neighbouring cities.

Lucio Lao of Jinyi Manila said Jinyi is complete from heavy equipment to spare parts distribution.

He said Jinyi is one of the largest heavy equipment and building material distributor in the Philippines, with six branches across the country - Davao City (main branch), Manila, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Surigao, and General Santos City.

"We've seen many potential projects here in the city, such as the Samal Bridge construction, which our equipment could be of help," Lao said.

He said they decided to open their first Jinyi branch here in Davao City in 2011 because of the city's potential global competency attributed to a promising economic growth and its stable law and order situation.

Meanwhile, he said Jinyi had already participated in various successful government projects, and private firm constructions.

"As for the prices, we have a good service, as compared to other Chinese brands," Lao said adding their equipment are of reasonable yet highly quality products.

XCMG is the construction equipment supplier of Jinyi.

XCMG International manager Liu Jien Sen said their equipment has passed international standards, making them the number one in China, and number six globally. Also, making them the longest running firm, which was established in 1943.

"Technially, we are much stronger from other brands," Sen said.

He also witnessed how the demands for these equipment in the city had risen throughout the years.

"We are glad to learn and witness the growth and development of the Philippines under the strong leadership of President Duterte," Sen said.

With the growing economy, Jinyi operations manager Alice Fong said Jinyi hopes to expand into a stronger and better company for both clients and employees.

"We also aspire to continuously create value to the customers, provide dignified life to our employees, make sound profit for our shareholders, and bring positive contribution to the communities, of course," Fong said.
