USC grad tops Pharmacist Licensure Examination

A GRADUATE from the University of San Carlos (USC) in Cebu City has made it to the top 10 in the Pharmacist Licensure Examination given this August.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday, August 7, that Herra Corazon Tan Salinas of the USC ranked sixth in the exam with a rating of 90.55 percent.

Also in the top 10 are three graduates from the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila, two from the University of Santo Tomas (UST), two from Centro Escolar University-Manila, one from the Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela and one from the University of the Immaculate Conception-Davao.

Ranked first is Janelle Samantha Que See of UP Manila with a rating of 92.58 percent, followed by Van Angelo Ong Sy of the Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela with 91.37 percent rate.

The other topnotchers are:

* (3rd) Jemimah Gyra Celedonio Escote - UP Manila, 90.90 percent

* (4th) Cristine Plaza Malvar - University of the Immaculate Conception-Davao, 90.77

* (5th) Claribel Isis Tanchanco Tiu - UST, 90.57

* (7th) Mark Lingan Pagulayan - UST, 90.30

* (8th) Justin Dave Magracia Manantan - Centro Escolar University-Manila, 90.13

* (9th) Nikko Temblor Lim - Centro Escolar University-Manila, 90.12

* (10th) Zadkiel Flores Velasquez - UP Manila, 90.10

Below is the complete list of passers.



The PRC said 3,097 out of 4,455 examinees passed the examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this August. (LMY/SunStar Philippines)
