Preparasyon sa SEA Games gisubay sa Senado

“MAGKAISA na tayo bilang bansa at bilang Pilipino,” kini ang gideklara ni Committee on Sports Chairman ug Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go sa iyang pagpanguna sa organizational meeting ug briefing sa hosting sa nasud sa 2019 Southeast Asian Games, Martes sa Senate of the Philippines sa Pasay City.

Sa nagkaduol nga pagbukas sa duwa, Nobyembre 30, ang senate hearing gihimo aron mausa ang updates sa konstruksiyon ug testing sa mga pasilidad, lakip na kasamtangang sports program ug legislative agenda ug suporta nga gitunol sa Philippine Sports Commission ug hosting management sa games sa Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee.

“We are gathered here as one to know where are we now in our preparations. I believe that our successful hosting will usher in a progressive and new chapter in Philippine sports,” ni Sen. Go sa iyang opening speech.

Anaa sab sa miting sila Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri, Sen. Francis Tolentino ug Sen. Imee Marcos, lakip na sila Team Philippines Chef de Mission ug PSC Chairman William Ramirez, newly-elected Philippine Olympic Committee President Cong. Bambol Tolentino, PHISGOC COO Ramon Suzara ug Bases Conversion and Development Authority President Vince Dizon.

Si Ramirez mihatag kasiguruhan sa senado nga gisunod nila ang mando sa pangulo, lakip na ang pagsiguro sa pundo.

“I want to thank the President for all his efforts in this endeavor. The Commission will continue to assist in the country’s hosting of the games by ensuring the proper and timely processing of funds."

"Our facilities are almost ready. The athletic and aquatic centers, as well as the athlete’s village located at New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac are nearing its completion and will be available for usage for our athletes ahead of schedule,” ni Dizon.
