LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – With less than two months before summer, the Benguet Provincial Tourism Office (PTO) has already started preparing for the expected influx of tourists.
PTO Tourism Operations Officer Claire Prudencio said communities have requested trainings and seminars to boost their capacity of accommodating potential visitors like training for effective customer service.
“These trainings intend to make the front-liners of the industry more approachable for the tourists, as most communities are not yet prepared to entertain large stream of visitor,” Prudecio said.
Prudencio said the upcoming Strawberry Festival of La Trinidad, the treks to Mount Pulag in Kabayan and Mount Ugo in Itogon, and its hot spring resorts are the favorite destinations. (MEC/LDG)
