Guv to Yanson family: Unite and settle differences

GOVERNOR Eugenio Jose Lacson advised the Yanson family to unite once again amid the unresolved squabbling among its members.

"On behalf of the millions of Negrenses and Filipinos relying on the prompt, quality and reliable transport services offered by Vallacar Transit, I would like to call on Olivia V. Yanson, Roy S. Yanson, Leo Rey Yanson, Ginnette Yanson Dumancas, Celina Yanson Lopez, Ricardo Yanson Jr. and Emily Yanson to unite as a family once again, to settle their differences and save VTI, a corporation vested with public interest," Lacson said.

He added: "Despite what was said and done, it is still not too late for everyone to forgive and work with each other."

Lacson personally went inside the Mansilingan main office of VTI on Friday, August 9, with Negros Occidental Provincial Police Director Romeo Baleros.

"I pray that more focus will be given on the gifts that have been given and that these gifts will not be put to waste. The gift of 18,000-strong loyal employees, the gift of a successful business serving the public, the gift of a far reaching franchise, the gift of name and goodwill established through the years, and most of all... the gift of family. I hope that these are sufficient reasons to allow unity, love, and understanding to prevail in the family," Lacson said.
