TEN lovely candidates who will vie for the 2019 MassKara Festival Queen crown were introduced to Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia, Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran and members of the City Council of Bacolod when they paid courtesy visit to the said city officials on August 14, 2019 at the Bacolod Government Center.
The candidates were accompanied by MassKara festival director Eli Francis Tajanlangit of the Silver MassKara Festival Organization, Inc. and Sonny Cabahug, Pageant Director.
The candidates are Christine Mendoza, 22; Roem Alcaen, 20; Moira Maci Abesamis, 21; Andrea Sagario, 17; Trecia Tuquero, 21; Vina Marie Peña, 20; Chaira Victoria Juarez, 18; Chainee May Ang, 21; Janine Cabrillos, 18 and Queenie Edessa Amarante, 19.
MassKara Festival Queen 2018 Ella Mercado also joined the ladies during the courtesy visit.
During their chat with the mayor, the ladies introduced themselves. The mayor shared with the ladies how the MassKara Festival has started and evolved.
The MassKara Festival Queen pageant night is set on October 23, at Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Gatuslao Street, Bacolod City.
