APART from visiting the Kadayawan Village, dancing to the beat of Indak-indak, and marveling the colorful Pamulak sa Kadayawan, festival revelers are also on the lookout of where to dine the Kadawayan way this season. Here’s a list of festival promos offered by the city’s leading hotels and restaurants:



Seda Abreeza’s Misto

For a complete Kadayawan vibe, award-winning restaurant Misto has prepared a festive dining and flavorful treats this season. The restaurant offers a three-day special dinner buffet from August 15 to 17 (7 p.m. to 10 p.m.). Diners can also try its fruit blend with banana, mango, and pineapple flavors; and its festival cocktail – Pomelo blaze.



Madayaw Café at dusitD2

Enjoy Davao’s local flavors with a delightful twist at Madayaw Café with its Kadayawan set menu offering on Monday to Friday. Available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the restaurant will showcase eight curated local specialty offerings, which comes with free-flowing iced tea. Dining here in group is encouraged as the restaurant has prepared a better deal at P3,500 for six persons.



Café Marco at Marco Polo Hotel

Dig in to an authentic Filipino and Mindanaoan dishes at Café Marco from August 17 to 24.

The restaurant lets diners enjoy mouth-watering appetizers such as tuna ceviche with cucumber, tomato, vinegar, chilli and exotic flavors such as Piyaren Udang, Beef Landang, and Piyalam Istah. Famous Davao dessert halo-halo as well as fresh-from-the-farm mangosteen, lanzones, and pomelo on the buffet spread are also up for grabs. To complete the Kadayawan gastronomic experience, try the hotel’s official festival drink, the Kadayawan Cooler, a refreshing drink made from fresh Davao-grown fruits with famous Davao Pomelo as its base flavor.



RBG Bar & Grill at Park Inn

For a festive mood on the table, dine at RBG Bar & Grill, the Park INN BY Radisson Davao’s all-day dining restaurant as it presents a set meal and a buffet spread of everyone’s favorite Filipino dishes. Its Kadayawan set meal priced at P2,500 per set is already good for four people. The set meal is inclusive of soup, a choice of salad, main course, sidings, starch, and dessert. It is available during lunch and dinner on August 15,16,17,19, and dinner only on the 18th. A special lunch buffet on August 18 for only P880 per person will also be available.



Café Uno at Waterfront Insular Hotel

For a sumptuous dinner, the Waterfront Insular Hotel culinary team led by Chef Niño Ante prepared a buffet with a bountiful tribute to the King of Festivals at Café Uno beginning August 9 until August 31. The buffet highlights a Kadayawan Corner inspired by Davao’s eleven tribes.
